Better decisions,
better life.

If habit trackers are too rigid but your brain craves the dopamine of doing the “right thing”, One Better Decision may be for you.

Log your better decisions. Watch your life change.

You might decide to go for a walk after dinner instead of scrolling on your phone. You might decide to call a friend to nurture that friendship with a spare 15 minutes in your day.

Our decisions build everything that matters including our careers, relationships, health, creativity, and finances.

We make hundreds of decisions a day. What if you dropped perfection and just made them better, whatever that means to you?

Log your better decisions and watch your life improve. Analytics surface patterns in your data, showing what you’re doing well and where you’re headed.

I built One Better Decision for people who are neurodivergent, into self-improvement without the toxicity, and ready to build a better life,  moment to moment, day to day.

Hi, I’m Nicole. And I’ve wanted this app to exist for awhile.

I love the idea habit tracking but it always felt binary: either I went to the gym or I didn’t. Either I hit Inbox Zero or I didn’t.

And what about the goals that don’t have a number behind them, like improving my relationship with my friend? No productivity app made space for progress on the things that matter but can’t be measured.

I wanted a way to acknowledge: I didn’t have to make the perfect decision, just a better one. And one better, plus one better, plus one better… it adds up.

Tracking it gave me the dopamine hit of doing something right. And seeing which categories of my life I was neglecting kept me honest.

I sat on this idea for eight years, not wanting to hire a developer for a passion project and not knowing another way. Then Claude Code emerged, and I thought maybe it’s finally time.

I talked to friends. They were excited. “Tell me when it launches and I’ll download it!” Their encouragement kept me going.

And here I am, with my first app in the App Store. Please try it and tell me what you think. I have a whole list of ideas for future versions and I’d love to build what users actually care about.

How It Works

Step 1: Log a decision.

You can let the app categorize it for you or put it in one or more categories yourself.

Step 2: Earn badges.

Get used to noticing your good decisions with some in app encouragement.

Step 3: Notice trends.

Your data will tell you where you’re making good decisions and give you customized suggestions.

Step 4: Get social (optional).

Connect with friends or keep things private – it’s up to you!
